“The International contract for construction of the International Conference Center in Katmandu In Aid of Nepal” was signed between China complete plant corporation and CCECC on October 24,1989. CCECC commenced the main works of the project on September 1990 and completed it within 26 months as specified in the contract. The total value of the contract is 50390000 Yuan RMB.

      The international conference center project in Katmandu is one of the important projects among Our country’s foreign aid projects around the world. Further more, the leaders of China and Nepal showed direct concern about its progress. Accompanied by the primer minister of Nepal, the Chinese primer minister LiPeng laid a foundation for the international Conference Center Project during his visit to Nepal on November 1989. This project was smoothly completed in 1991. The completion of the International Conference Center in Katmandu, Nepal has depended the friendship of the peoples between China and Nepal, and turned out a good image of China in the developing countries.
