The main work of this project:

1) Rehabilitate and renew the railway of 261 km in total length.

2) Replace the existing rail on the main line with 50Kg/m continuous welded new rail.

3) Replace the existing sleepers on the main line with the pre-stressed concrete new sleepers.

4) Replace the existing turnouts on the main line with the 50Kg/m turnouts.

5) Add appropriate quantity of ballast as per design.
