Tanzania-Zambia Railway is CCECC¡¯s largest turnkey project abroad, whose construction started in 1970 and was completed in 1976. It covers a total length of 1,860 km. with 320 bridges, 22 tunnels, 2 sizable locomotive and rolling stock works, a training centre and some 376,000 sq.m. of buildings. Since 1976, CCECC has been engaged in the operation and management of the railway and training of local personnel.
